Myself

I’ve always been a talker. I am an out-loud thinker, and proud of it. It’s not limited to just random thoughts or an inner monologue; I prefer to have verbal conversations between myself and my brain. Any idea that my brain cooks up usually goes straight out of my mouth. This is because I believe that in order for an idea to be executed well, you must present the message in a verbal way. It also helps with my preparation, as it is way easier for me to communicate an idea if I find a way to get it across in a digestible and understandable manner. Ideas are forever fleeting, and good ones should be shared and critiqued by others before becoming an afterthought and subjugated to what I call the “Idea Shelf.” I am hard-working, full of creativity, and will always let you know when I come up with a new idea.

My Journey

My journey in becoming an avid storyteller, imaginator, and copywriter started in high school. Yielding from a small town in Southern New Hampshire, I was seemingly thrust into the biggest school in the state. I was a big fish in a little pond, and I now had found myself staring into the abyss of the ocean. I went through the trials and tribulations, headlining on the football field and captivating audiences as an actor in musical performances. I was like a bizarro version of Troy Bolton, but it allowed me to build my communicative abilities and get a foothold in public speaking. My experiences eventually led me to write and host my very own professionally produced sports web series. After retiring from acting, sports, and becoming an amateur Stephen A. Smith, I planned to further my communication and writing skills at Syracuse University.

Since attending Syracuse University, my outlook on my passions has taken multiple twists and turns. I originally was pursuing a degree in Broadcast & Digital Journalism, in which I fielded and wrote multiple news stories while also developing scripts for radio sportscasts. Although I appreciated the adventures I had as a reporter, I longed for the ability to really flex my creative muscles. It was through a summer internship at a radio station that I was introduced to advertising and copywriting, and the pieces just fell in place after that. Since switching my major to Creative Advertising, I have felt the complete freedom to let my imagination wander.
